My name is Alexa and I am located in Florence, Italy, and am originally from Philadelphia, PA. I am a Digital Marketing & Communications specialist, and recent graduate with a passion for helping new and small businesses create beautiful e-commerce platforms, converting digital marketing strategies and e-mail marketing campaigns for customer retention. I started my career studying biology where I learned the data analytic skills I use in my work today. After finding my passion for digital marketing, I continued my education at Polimoda, International Institute of Fashion Design & Marketing. With a focus on the fashion and luxury industries, I was able to complete multiple full scale brand and digital analysis while implementing marketing strategies, campaigns and suggestions. During my time at Polimoda, I also gained a considerable understanding of the international fashion market. My second area of expertise is the gourmet food industry including products and markets from the United States and Italy, which I gained knowledge and experience from while working as a sales consultant for a gourmet brokerage firm for five years, and continue to pursue part time.
